The Slowdown of Transitions in New Technologies

When the Tesla came along, there was no place to charge it. That's been true with every technology in some way or another. I have an electric car and I only drive it locally. So I plug it into my house curtain on the weekend and charge itself. It's nice. But if you want to travel any distance with the limitations and batteries, you have to find a place where you can be charged. Until that infrastructure is in place, you're not going to have everybody driving electric car.
