The Relationship Between IQ and Income
The correlation between i c antolloge and standardized testing and income is about five. So that means that there are people who are very smart who are poor, and people who aren't too smart who are rich. How well you do on a test actually matters a lot in your life. In the modern world, we're not farmers, a, you know, in 18 hundred any more. But even when it comes to something like skilled labor, i think, i ce probably does matter. The ability to engage in abstraction, to read, to think, analyzed, o decomposed, all these things are very useful in the modern world.
