I love how Ellie has this joy for something so juvenile and infantile and stupid. She knows it's stupid, but she loves it. And I always find myself connecting to characters when they show me what they love. It's a joke book that comments on their relationship as it changes. Man, and there's so much about it too, because in her backpack, she has a pun book and a weapon. This is also the first moment where Joel talks.
