The Love of Wisdom Is Practice for Dying

In Greek philosophy, there was the idea that philosophy is practice for dying. In other traditions, in Buddhism, it's suffering, this unsatisfactoriness. And so one thing I'm taking from this conversation is given that all of us are going to either have a chronic illness or a significant illness, or are going to die first, very quickly. It seems like one of the implications of this is where it would be really smart on our part to do some spiritual practice in a preparation.
