Many of the good things about Ruby or Rails are already in Crystal standard library, so you don't need an extra tool for that. And I think when it's part of the standard library, then most of these problems with adding methods to types to have fancy behavior is not that big of an issue because it's a standard library,. nobody else can argue with it.
