I believe that came from something you overhead in a coffee shop while we were on tour. You know, single moms really just working so hard just to keep us alive. We all get so wrapped up in ourselves, we think our story is the only one. There's probably millions of us out there, all raised like that. And it's a simple sentiment, a simpl song. But you can't turn those kinds of songs away as a song writer,. You can't resist those things. You have to just do it.
