Why Should We Care About Robot Hate?
Okimean: It doesn't matter that we hate a robot, but who cares? That's just my problem. But i take a different view, that at least some robots, either currently are or soon will be, morally considerable. If this is so, then human robot relationships characterized by hate does matter. Okimean: The time to start thinking about these moral issues is now, before we are quite at the position of having such beings to contend with. And if we do not face these questions as a society, we will likely perpetuate injustices on many who in fact deserve to be regarded as members of the moral community.
