Clive Barker was born in Liverpool. He went to the same high school as John Lennon, and he was at an event where Leo Valantin, the famous skydiver guy, that guy died in front of Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Clive Barker. And I think the main thing that it shares with the books of blood is just like a spherness and a goryness and a graphicness and a directness. That's where characterizes his work, I think.
