The Exhumation of the Valley of Quelgamuros

The bodies of more than 30,000 people who had been killed during the Spanish Civil War were exhumed and reburied in the surrounding forest. The first of these exhumations is finally underway with exhumation of 128 victims beginning in June. Fort Polk in Louisiana was renamed Fort Johnson after New York National Guard Sergeant Henry Johnson.
