The Importance of Routines
Routine is a form of a norm. A routine tends to be something which is a lot more specific. It's usually a sequence of behaviors. Do this, do this, then do this. And these types of procedures are really useful to the classroom teacher because they're much more explicit. The three important ones are entry procedures, exit procedures, and transition procedures.
