How Do You Strike That Balance?
Each exhibition or programme is almost like a little sub brand within the museum. We have designed for exhibitions that were baroke painters and then we've designed four, you know, contemporary sculptures. And so again, we have lots of conversations and try and figure out how we can choose the type that feels like it in each case. I think one of my favorite catalogues that we've designed was for eddie marqines, who's a contemporary painter. He does these absolutely massive paintings that are incredibly gestural with all sorts of unusual objects on to the canvas. There might belike a baby wipe, or like a cough drop wrapper, or like his footprints whill walk across it
