The Inexhaustibility of Art

The greater the art, the more it's inexhaustible. Great works of music are like iridescent luminous objects that say different things depending on the angle at which you look at them. You can listen to a piece of music 10 times over the course of a week and think that you've more or less exhausted it in terms of what it can say to you. Right. Well, that's certainly true of great works of music.
