The History of Prussian Blue
Prussian blue was the world's first synthetic pigment, created by a fellor desback in 1730s. The color is controversial because of its transparency and lack of darkening properties. Prussian blue revolutionized color dye everything as it became cheaper to make than traditional pigments like purple or red. But now prussian blue has been turned into hydrogen cyanite, which is a deadly poison.
