The Reason for a Space Force
In recent years, the military space budget has been larger by a couple billion dollars or so than NASA's budget. In part, that's because the US military is heavily reliant on space. And relative to our overall military budget, which is something on the order of $800 billion US this year, spending 28 or so on military spaces seems tiny for action of that.
