What's the Role of Originalism?
Heller: Originalism in the abstract made a lot of sense. But now that it does, i think it's not as objective as we were told it would be. If originalism always comes out the way that you want it to, then i don't think it's much of a methodology. And so if there 's something ambiguous, if there's some shades of gray, then we go to history and tradition. Hernández: I'm with sarah. You got us. Good originalists wiuld say, "We start with text"
