How to Read Apocalyptic Literature

When people have these dreams and visions in the hebrew bible, they are all experiencing variations of the same thing. They're usually given insight into what's happening around them and then given a message of some kind to share. So i'm fine calling this how to read apocalyptic literature, as long as we have this kind of footnote. That meaning sometimes an apocalypse is a whole book, like the last book of the bible,. but that's the only case like that in the bible. M every other apocalypse in the bible is in a narrative setting, within some larger work, the book of a prophet.
