Hypotonic Hypotonia

The patient's sodium is low, but it's not terribly low. The kidneys are going to try to maintain a normal serum sodium regardless of if I'm drinking water or salt water or whatever else? They will. So maybe he's got to be of an AKI, right? Maybe he doesn't quite, isn't able to regulate that as well. He can't really reclaim all of that sodium that he's losing. And so you end up with this, you know, hypovolemic to uvolemic hyponatremia,. which if you want to put into these traditional buckets would be a hypotonic hypon atremia.
