Is Data Science Part of Statistics?

There are arguments that data science is merely thea statistics combined with programming skills, or hacking skills. So how do you yo that? Yes, so, i mean, very much in statistics, there is this one kind of compartmentalization. If i don't know how that's working, then idon't know how to build the model. I think something like cadupe rite scalee computation just isn't really compatible with the underlying rules of probability.
