The Contradictions Between Inflation and Demand in the Real Economy

Trucking firm J.B. Hunt Transport Services reported their earnings just recently. The president of the firm said, we've got what seemed to be contradictions here. We've got inflation in our cost structure, but we've got deflation in prices, and we've got a freight recession. That is deflation actually working its way into the real economy. And it's deflation that is brought about by again, distortions, distortion, deflation, dare I say, depression. Eventually prices are gonna fall too far where firms are gonna have to go out of business.
