How Much Do We Expect to Lose From the Global Economy?
Some economists have said that if we removed all borders, the global GDP will be would, the benefits would be at least a trillion dollars a year. The biggest resource we have is our labour and it's absolutely crazy that we make it so hard for people who are generally moving for work. In fact, cities are entirely the product of migration. All cities were formed by migration, of course, but most of them are completely reliant on it. We can't continue like this. We have to have a management plan in place for how we're going to move people so that we don't cause conflicts.
