The Power of Dispensationalism in American Politics
Timothy Stanley: dispensationalism is a way of thinking about the end of the world where Christians get raptured and everyone who's not really Christian gets left behind. He says it's so tied to American politics that when you finish this sort of left behind stuff, you begin to think that American Israel are the true nations in the world. Stanley: "I had no idea how interwoven dispensationalist theology was to the reason why the current nation state of Israel even exists today"
