The Dutch Government's Predictive Analytic System
The Dutch government set up a predictive analytic system, which identified people who were statistically likely to commit fraud. It denied them benefits and made them pay back benefits. Accountants were threatened with being put in jail; more than a thousand families had their children forcibly taken from them. And it took seven years from the time this system was in place until there was accountability.
