Yeye's book is full of wonderful explorations of burrowing creatures not all of which are vertebrates. He writes that scientists would have once thought that creatures as large as these, these ground slots, would would not have burrowed. But he points out that, in fact, the largest burrowing animals to day are bears especially. If you count snow as a substrait for burrowing, ten, that's that's burling. And that's pretty impressive.
