Exercise is not the main benefit of exercise, according to experts. The science really shows that these long term studies of people exercising and trying to lose weight doesn't succeed. There's some evidence that once you've lost weight, doing some exercise can help you maintain it. And we should be moving away from this idea of everyone trying to get rapid weight loss in January after the holiday season.
