"I think after a while you know it's the old jazz thing and it just keep hitting them with the wrong note to list the right note you know. If we've got a micro tonal phrase that's very long I think it could be exhausting for the listener but like in that case it's a four bar loop of bass," he says. "Ultimately our challenge is to sort of combine those rather funky stinky ingredients into you know something palatable perhaps we could liken this dissonance to a blue cheese maybe it's a sonic fermentation."
