The Importance of Empathic Ruptures

In today's child centered era even very different from when I started in private practice on my own in 2009 when this was still happening. So very rarely nowadays is the guy not stay overnight in the hospital. But it used to be more common. And the guy used to think well shit she has staff. Also the baby didn't used to room in the hospital but whatever that's neither here nor there. The woman doesn't know what's going to happen. However that does not make it like that that does not makes it any less painful for the guy. For the guy it's an empathic rupture. Really?
