Is Free Will and Basic Desert Incompatible?

Many philosophers claim that it would be a radical revision of our ordinary beliefs and practices to endorse free will skepticism. The core of this concern is something that nilevi calls the luck pincer, which basically says either actions are subject to what you can call present luck or constitutive luck. But either way, luck undermines more responsibility in this basic desert sense. And so it undermines responsibility level control.
