The Evolution of Morality
In atheism, evolution is the reductive explanation of everything about us. Those who are advocating for moral realism without God often will admit that our morality is accidental. We might regard infanticide as not only morally acceptable, but morally obligatory in certain conditions. If you rewound the evolutionary tape, things could be a brute fact that that is a noble and dutiful act.
