Merriam-Webster: In North America inflation has been falling quite quickly this year. Consumer price inflation in Britain was 10.5% as of May it's what? 8.7%. The Bank of England is constantly talking about the fact that it is going to have to do more than it expected only a few months ago. It's likely to be raising interest rates long after the US Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank perhaps take a pause on their own tightening cycle.
