Jiu-Jitsu - How Do You Make Connections With Judo?

I remember I was teaching at an affiliate school of Lloyd's sort of when I first saw this problem. How do I get them to do the process as it really is, not how we are showing it? Because I could clearly see there was a difference, but nobody taught me how to explain this. So seeing that and then being inspired by taking general action, I just started dealing with myself in that way. And so you started reading making these connections between judo and jiu-jitsu.
