The James Webb Space Telescope will look for signs of life on planets outside our solar system. The real goal is to try to see if there's oxygen or ozone in the atmosphere, but these are all chemicals that can be produced abiotically without the agency of life. Tyson: For a planet to be truly habitable, it has to simultaneously be orbiting in all 13 known planetary habitable zones. It seems to me that God has given this disability to delight in discovery.
