I feel like combined at this point is now like the better tool. It's hard to visualize a for loop that you write running forever. Unless they change that, I don't think combined is going anywhere anytime soon. And until we have the same sort of encapsulate an idea as a publisher or an operator on a combined pipeline, it won't go away.
