The Story of a 2D Pokemon Game
Kipsespeaks cassette beasts was a cool name the whole kind of in-universe gimmick is that you are like recording the monsters onto tapes and then becoming them so there's a whole kind of music theme throughout when you evolve them it's called remastering them. The world is almost like a 2D Zelda almost in that you can kind of go in all directions you might encounter like an environmental puzzle that'll require you to use one of your Pokemon types.
