The Shame of Not Being Referred to Psychiatry
"I was very very scared yeah if you didn't they didn't do their job it's not on the patient it's on the medical team and so I will tell people this wasn't with the psychiatrist it's an initial assessment which with a range of potential clinical people who aren't able to give a diagnosis," she says. "The shame that we all have when we don't know what's going on that takes us right back to school."
