How Prepared Is Western Europe for This Winter?
Germany has sought and found some alternative sources of gas. Even with 100 percent storage capacity filled, that amount will last for less than two months in an average winter. All across Europe, governments are asking citizens to raise their heat no higher than 67.5 degrees Fahrenheit during the winter. If there should be attacks on gas and oil pipelines, all bets are off. European could be plunged into total chaos.
