Is it possible that the technology gets where everyone could kind of contribute to a proof of work, decentralized network through some simple compute power? Or is it just going to be a race for bigger computers, more electricity forever. I definitely think we're headed down that path where the energy companies are recognizing the benefits of having a large base load that's intermittent on the grid. You can literally turn off a bicoin miner and the network doesn't care. It has no impact on the network.
