Transphobia - The New York Times

The New York Times has not responded to this letter, but instead they put out a piece of about JK Rowling. They say she is not disputing the existence of gender dysphoria. She's never voiced opposition to allowing people to transition under evidence-based therapeutic and medical care. The paper says that nothing Rowling has ever said qualifies as transphobic.
