The Importance of Ethics in the Long Term
How do we make it so that it's unthinkable that the US and Russia would engage in nuclear war? It doesn't sound like that's going to happen anytime soon. There are no quick solutions, what there are is the exercise of reality over time. If you're a country where people are making better choices than overall your country should do better over time. And fundamentally culture is what you have to talk about there. The reason that nobody in the United States wants to go to war with France or Britain is because we're friends with them.
