The History of Hausmann
Hausmann's project, we call it Hausmann, is the style of architecture. He sets that in motion and even though he's not there to oversee all of it, it doesn't matter. So you see in Paris, a lot of the buildings are early 1900s,. If it was a many of the architects right there names into the buildings, and you'll see there'll be 1901, 19, whatever. It's all part of that same project, which starts in the late 1800s. The first Napoleon Bonaparte comes about at really interesting time. And so France goes from being a monarchy and everything that that entails to becoming a republic with radical change.
