There are three times as many people identifying as transgender between the ages of 13 and 17 in comparison to adults in general. The number has doubled in the past five years, according to a new study. John Oliver's theory that social contagion is responsible for this rise doesn't hold up, says psychologist Leo Sappir. "You should be free to explore your sexuality," he adds.
