The Dare to Write a Novel About the Soviet War Scare
"I did it on a dare actually. I wonder how many great things in this world have been accomplished because of a dare," says author Jack Kerouac. The first person narration, and as you said, I've got two different first person narrators. One is Kevin Katani, the American, and the other is Yvonne Lefchenko, the Russian GRU officer. "It just seemed to me that first person narration was the best way for me to do that."
