The Importance of a Macro in Python

Python 3.9 was this idea of a first party library, which would kind of be that you'd add these things in your setup to do stuff with the language. So I guess in more layman's terms, what this means is you can create a macro that introduces new syntax to Python once it's been compiled to bytecode and then use that syntax in your program. That's a really interesting idea because there is a very compelling argument to not wanting to introduce new complexity to the language.
