Afghanistan seems to be turning against us and could eventually become this generation's vitnarm. We are now in a perpetual cach 22 - if we leave, it will quickly get worse. Hopeully the results of the recent afghanistan elections can bring some stability. But most experts here to day agree, and they don't hold much hope for that.
