Introduction

The three previous sacraments discussed were baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist. Now we come to another sacrament which represents a fall away from that divine life - confession. It is a sacrament which refers to the sins that have been committed after baptism. If we had never sinned, we never could call Christ Savior. Every sinner is an escapist, as does Adam when he hid from God.
