Gard bennig and his colleagues invented the first tools to see and manipulate objects as small as an atom. In 19 86, doctor benneg shared the nobel prize in physics for the design of the scanning tunnelling microscope. And later, in 20 16, he shared the cavily prize in nano science with the invention of the atomic force microscope.
