Psychic Automatism - A Brief History
In his early twenties, Dali was studying fine art at a unique university called Residencia de Estudiantes in Madrid. He mingled with other Spanish artists, becoming friends with the filmmaker Luis Bunuel and the writer Federico Garcia Lorca. It was actually Dali's friendship with the filmmaker that gave him a jumpstart in the art culture of Paris.
