The Pros and Cons of Indigenous Legends
The earth has this beautiful tilt, and it behaves much in the way that a spinning top does. So on this 26,000-year cycle, we have something called the procession cycle. That's going to be the spot above us where all the stars seem to be spinning in the sky. They're doing their little laps. And so what's really cool is there's traditions coming from the first peoples of Tasmania,. which actually describes this cycle because they have stories which describe a great southern star.
