Larkin Took His Own Life Just Over a Week Before His Federal Trial Was Scheduled to Begin
Larkin, as of this recording, it was this week that he took his own life just over a week before his federal trial was to have begun. Larkin late last year got rid of his long term lawyer who had been working with him on the case and got a new lawyer. He'd been hoping to, you know, they asked for a six month extension in order to let the lawyer catch up and the judge gave them six weeks. And so much that I think he felt a lot less sure that having the truth on the other side and having the law on their side was actually going to mean thatthey would be able to prevail in this case.
