The Latin phrase "Memento Mori" roughly translates to "remember you must die". This concept is widely attributed to the Stoics, and for good reason. While many run around constantly worried about death and what others will do to them, the Stoics preached embracing death by living everyday like it was your last and not giving time to trivial hardships in life.
