Is There a Vacuum Between Subjectivity and Subjectivity?
In the pre moderns, there is no clear notion of subjectivity and objectivity. There's no clear distinction between society and nature. In modernity, we start to pull those things apart. And as we do, we create this vacuum. We think that by creating this vacuum, we are going to create empty space, somehow that clearly separates them. But in fact, what we do is just open the space for all this other stuff to rush in.
